How to choose a section and a bearing
Elements of choice of a section are many and they depend on the different applications. In order to choose well our rolled and compound sections we recomend to verify the pressure exerted by the bearing or the roller on the slither bed of the section (Hertz law).
The calculated value should not exceed the specific pressure of 860 N/mm²..
